Published: 05 February 2021

Directly monitoring the process of distributing Cash Social Assistance at SDN Jembatan Besi 01 Pagi, the Mayor of West Jakarta, Uus Kuswanto expressed his appreciation to residents who were orderly and obeyed health protocols. The Mayor of West Jakarta, Uus Kuswanto, revealed that the BST distribution process was running smoothly and had complied with health protocols. These include mandatory use of masks, maintaining distance while waiting in line. "Today, as many as 500 beneficiaries in Tambora District received BST of IDR 300 thousand each,".

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, in a written statement in Jakarta (05/02) said, "The distribution of BST to 1,055,216 beneficiaries will be carried out starting January 2021 in stages and in turns from one DKI Jakarta administrative area to another. Distribution locations are at 160 locations in each DKI Jakarta administrative city area. Until January 30 2021, at least we (Bank DKI) together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government have distributed 756 thousand BST to beneficiaries with a distribution percentage of 86%.

Herry added, regarding the implementation of the distribution of Cash Social Assistance, Bank DKI gives appreciation to recipients of Cash Social Assistance (BST) who have complied with Health protocols at BST distribution locations. BST recipients are also cooperative in following the schedule that has been submitted to avoid crowds.

By still paying attention to health protocols, the BST distribution carried out by Bank DKI together with the Social Service of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government per location point only serves a maximum of 500 BST recipients per day. Each recipient of social assistance will receive an invitation no later than H-1 before the distribution and the invitation will be delivered by the social assistance unit to the RT RW and then given to the Beneficiary Families (KPM). After arriving at the BST distribution location, beneficiaries are required to always wear a mask, wash their hands and check their body temperature and maintain distance inside and outside the BST distribution room.

Herry added, "BST recipients are required to bring an invitation, KTP and family card (original & photocopy). If the BST recipient is unable to attend according to the distribution schedule, the recipient will be invited back for a second invitation to a third invitation which will be carried out after the first distribution is completed in 5 areas of DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands."

In the process of distributing BST or DKI Jakarta Provincial Government programs such as KJP Plus, KJMU, KLJ, KPDJ, KAJ, KPJ, Dasa Wisma Card or other Social Assistance, all Bank DKI Management and employees do not accept or ask for gifts or gifts in any form and Bank DKI never charges any fees (administrative fees, transportation costs and other costs) in the distribution process of various DKI Jakarta Provincial Government programs.
