Commitment to Support Sharia Financial Literacy Bank DKI Syariah Participates in the OJK Sicantiks Program
Jakarta, October 15 2023Jakarta – Bank DKI through the Sharia Business Unit participated in a program organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) entitled Friends of Women Capable of Sharia Financial Literacy (SICANTIKS) in Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/10). The presence of this program is part of efforts to increase sharia financial literacy by optimizing the role of mothers as ambassadors of sharia financial literacy through sustainable, community-based financial literacy training.
On this occasion, Bank DKI also provided education regarding sharia financial literacy by introducing various sharia digital financial products, in a talk show with the theme "Digitalization of Sharia Finance". To make things even more festive, Bank DKI also provided Hajj and Umrah Savings (Taharoh) to 5 (five) OJK Literacy Ambassadors, and vouchers for millions of rupiah in Umrah discounts to a number of seminar participants.
OJK Chief Executive of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education and Consumer Protection Monitoring, Friderica Widyasari Dewi explained, "The presence of the SICANTIKS Program is expected to increase literacy including knowledge related to sharia financial products as well as family financial planning and management, empower mothers as educational agents who can share knowledge with the wider community, and encourage mothers to take advantage of sharia financial products and services as an effort to increase inclusion," said Friderica.
