Supporting the Jakarta Waste Awareness Program, Bank DKI Embraces the JakOne Artri Community in Pesakih Flats

Published: 07 October 2021

Supporting the Jakarta Waste Aware Movement program as a joint collaborative effort for a cleaner Jakarta, Bank DKI is embracing the residents of Pesakih Flats, West Jakarta, to join the JakOne Artri community. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini, in a written statement in Jakarta (5/10).

By becoming part of the JakOne Artri community, residents in Pesakih Flats will benefit from sustainable and modern waste management. "The JakOne Artri Community carries out modern waste management by carrying out 3R steps, namely reduce, reuse and recycle. After carrying out the 3Rs, waste can be immediately exchanged for JakOne Pay electronic money," said Herry.

To provide further convenience for the JakOne Artri community in the Pesakih Flats, waste bank points have also been prepared around the Pesakih Flats. This waste bank is useful as a place to collect waste that has been sorted by the JakOne Artri community. "The presence of the waste bank at the Pesakih Flats is expected to further encourage the spirit of caring for the environment of the JakOne Artri community in the Pesakih Flats," said Herry.

The formation of the JakOne Artri community provides a number of benefits for the community, namely becoming a source of additional income, adopting an environmentally friendly lifestyle, as well as efforts to preserve the earth in a modern way.

For residents, waste collectors and waste entrepreneurs who are interested in becoming part of the JakOne Artri community, Herry invites them to visit the site bit.ly/jakoneartri to obtain further information regarding participation requirements. "Of course we want more and more people, especially in Jabodetabek, to actively join the JakOne Artri community, so that together we can save the Earth through modern waste management," concluded Herry.

Apart from JakOne Artri, Bank DKI has previously collaborated with flat residents in the Hydroponic Garden Program. This program is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by providing hydroponic gardening facilities and guidance to hydroponic farmers in Pesakih Flats.

Support Flat Community Financial Transactions

To support the financial transactions of flat residents, Bank DKI also has service offices at the cash office level in 14 flats in DKI Jakarta. The opening of this service office is intended to improve daily financial transaction/bill payment services such as IPL payments, electricity bills, water bills, tax bills, and regional levy payments. All bill payments can also be made via the JakOne Mobile application.

To support financial transactions for flat residents, Bank DKI also issues Flat Resident Cards which are multifunctional cards that can be used as identity cards, payment cards, and also as access cards for public service facilities.
