At the age of 60, Governor Anies hopes that Bank DKI will continue to innovate

JAKARTA – Bank DKI as a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of DKI Jakarta, which has turned 60 years old, is expected to continue to innovate so that it can provide greater benefits to the residents of the capital. This hope was conveyed by the Governor of DKI, Anies Baswedan, considering that Bank DKI, apart from managing regional finances and treasury, also plays a role in improving the welfare of the capital's residents through various programs such as distributing social assistance to the community.
"I really appreciate Bank DKI's performance. Hopefully, in its 60th year, Bank DKI will continue to develop and continue to innovate by creating new things that can provide greater benefits for all of us," said Anies in his virtual speech at Bank DKI's 60th Anniversary event.
A similar expression was also conveyed by the Deputy Governor of DKI, Ahmad Riza Patria, who said he was proud. The reason is, in the midst of quite tight competition, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, Bank DKI was able to survive. He even made various achievements in the banking world. "This shows that Bank DKI has high competitiveness in the national banking industry," he added. Riza further added that Bank DKI has also contributed to providing solutions that make it easier for Jakarta residents to access public services provided by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Likewise with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional Secretary (Sekdaprov), Marullah Matali, who stated that Bank DKI has an important role in the implementation of various DKI Provincial Government programs. "I hope that Bank DKI can grow with a touch of key innovations in the world of banking such as JakOne Mobile and Jak Card which make things even easier for customers and the people of Jakarta," added Marullah.
Separately, Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta BUMD Development Agency, Riyadi stated that in its 60 year journey, Bank DKI has provided maximum contribution. Both in the financial and other sectors. "It is hoped that Bank DKI can become a driving force for BUMD synergy to build an advanced and prosperous city of Jakarta," said Riyadi.
For information, Bank DKI, which is one of the BUMDs owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, on April 11 2021 held a virtual 60th anniversary celebration. As part of a series of activities for its 60th anniversary, Bank DKI also held various CSR programs such as business capital assistance to Bank DKI retirees and providing compensation to orphans in the DKI Jakarta area. Bank DKI also organizes blood donation and convalescent blood donation activities in collaboration with PMI DKI Jakarta.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini expressed his gratitude for the trust and support given by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the majority shareholder of Bank DKI, as well as to customers who have used banking products and services from Bank DKI.
