Bank DKI Confirms: Credit Distribution to Ancol Rp. 1.2 T is Not Related to E-Formula

Published: December 24, 2021

As reported, at the signing of the business collaboration agreement between Bank DKI and Ancol on December 20 2021 last Monday, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini confirmed that the credit of IDR 1.2 trillion to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol consisted of Working Capital Credit of IDR 389 billion for additional operational working capital for Ancol which has resumed carrying out its business activities in line with the relaxation of social restrictions in DKI Jakarta. And investment credit of IDR 516 billion for refinancing PUB II Ancol Phase II Bonds as well as investment credit of IDR 334 billion for the revitalization and arrangement of the Ancol east gate, construction of the new Bird Land attraction, renovation of the Dufan rides, renovation and revitalization of the Putri Duyung hotel, as well as renovation of the Sea World attraction. Thus, the distribution of credit has nothing to do with E-Formula.

Apart from providing credit, Bank DKI and Ancol are also collaborating on digital marketing services, including cooperation on marketing tickets for the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol recreation, which includes cooperation on marketing recreational units, cooperation on ticket sales, and developing digital payment mechanisms for the development of the digital ecosystem in Ancol so that it is hoped that Ancol customers and Bank DKI customers will gain customer experience on the products and services of Ancol and Bank DKI, so that they will be more loyal. Apart from that, all of Ancol's financial cash flow is managed at Bank DKI, including cash pooling for Ancol customer payments via e-commerce.

Herry added that Bank DKI has just received SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certification as a form of implementation of corporate governance and the principle of prudence. In carrying out operational activities and providing credit, Bank DKI is always guided by regulations issued by regulators, both the Financial Services Authority and Bank Indonesia by implementing good corporate governance by doing business ethically and with dignity.
