Residential DP 0 Rupiah Starting to Be Occupied, Bank DKI Continues to Support Credit Distribution with DP 0 Rupiah

Realizing the continuation of the 0 Rupiah DP Residential program, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government together with Bank DKI and Perum Perumnas carried out credit agreement signing activities and symbolically handed over keys to the 0 Rupiah DP beneficiaries. The signing of the credit agreement and handing over of the keys was attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area Service, Sarjoko, along with the Main Director of Bank DKI, Zainuddin Mappa in Jakarta (07/11).

A number of 0 Rupiah DP residential projects that can be occupied by beneficiaries include Rusunami Bandar Kemayoran, North Jakarta and Sentraland Cengkareng Apartments with Perum Perumnas as the development company. As a bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Bank DKI has once again participated in supporting the distribution of 0 Rupiah DP credit to DKI Jakarta residents who are deemed to have met the requirements as potential beneficiaries. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement.

Herry also added that as of October 31 2020, Bank DKI as the implementing bank for the Zero Rupiah Down Payment Program had realized the distribution of KPR Home Acquisition Financing Facilities amounting to IDR 143 billion to 514 0 Rupiah DP beneficiaries in a number of residences registered by the Prosperous Home Ownership Facilitation Unit (UFPRS) and had collaborated with Bank DKI. A number of these residences include the Samawa Nuansa Pondok Kelapa Tower, East Jakarta, owned by KSO Sarana-Totalindo/Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya and 2 residences developed by Perum Perumnas, namely Rusunami Bandar Kemayoran, North Jakarta; and Sentraland Cengkareng Apartments, West Jakarta.

In 2 residences developed by Perum Perumnas, Bank DKI has distributed FPPR KPR amounting to IDR 11 billion to 45 beneficiaries. Currently, Herry said that Bank DKI is still processing credit applications made by potential beneficiaries. In carrying out its duties as the implementing bank, Bank DKI is tasked with verifying that DKI Jakarta residents are deemed to meet the program's special banking credit/financing criteria as potential beneficiaries. "Bank DKI is committed to supporting the distribution of 0 Rupiah DP credit while still paying attention to the implementation of the precautionary principle," said Herry.

Herry further said, "This activity is actually an implementation of Bank DKI as an agent of development and encouraging the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's program according to its vision and mission, namely a developed city with happy citizens."

The Zero Rupiah Down Payment Program (DP Zero Rupiah) is a program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which is managed by the Prosperous Home Ownership Facilitation Unit (UFPRS) under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Public Housing and Settlement Area Service. This program, known as Samawa, provides housing financing facilities for low-income people to own a finished and ready-to-live-in housing unit in DKI Jakarta. The criteria for prospective beneficiaries must meet the requirements, including being a resident of DKI Jakarta as proven by an e-KTP, not having their own house, a maximum net household income of IDR 14.8 million per month, not currently receiving Central/Regional Government housing assistance/subsidies and having a NPWP.
