JAKARTA — As a series of activities for its 65th Anniversary, Bank Jakarta held a collaborative blood donation activity with PWI Jaya, PMI DKI Jakarta Province, and the DKI Jakarta CSR Forum at Bank Jakarta Head Office, (24/4). President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in a written statement said that this blood donation activity was part of the company's commitment to strengthening social awareness while providing real benefits to the community.

According to Agus, the momentum of Bank Jakarta's 65th anniversary is not only celebrated as an institutional achievement, but also an opportunity to expand humanitarian contributions through collaboration with various parties. "This blood donation is a form of Bank Jakarta's social concern for the community. At the age of 65, we want this celebration to have a wider impact, not just ceremonial, but also provide direct benefits through humanitarian action," said Agus.

He added that the synergy with PWI Jaya, PMI DKI Jakarta Province, and the DKI Jakarta CSR Forum is an example of positive collaboration between the business world, professional organizations and social institutions in supporting community needs.

"We hope that this activity can help meet the need for blood in hospitals and communities in need. This is also part of the spirit of collaboration that we continue to build," he said.

Agus further emphasized that social activities such as blood donation will continue to be part of Bank Jakarta's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, in line with the company's transformation which is not only business-oriented, but also has social responsibility.

Chairman of PWI Jaya, Kesit B. Handoyo, expressed his appreciation for the collaborative initiative initiated by Bank Jakarta with partners. According to him, this activity shows joint concern for humanitarian issues which require the involvement of many parties. "We appreciate Bank Jakarta for making the 65th anniversary commemoration a momentum for sharing through blood donation. The blood donation activity was attended by Bank Jakarta employees, PWI Jaya members, CSR partners, and the general public. The enthusiasm of the participants was visible from the morning, with the registration process and health checks taking place in an orderly manner in the activity area.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that through this activity, Bank Jakarta emphasized that the 65th anniversary celebration was not only a reflection of the company's journey, but also a momentum to strengthen the values ​​of care, collaboration and service to the community.
