As of April 2021, Bank DKI Realizes 0 Rupiah Down Payment Credit IDR 198.8 Billion

Realizing the continuation of the Zero Rupiah Down Payment residential program (DP 0 Rupiah), as of April 2021 Bank DKI has realized the distribution of Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Home Acquisition Financing Facilities amounting to IDR 198.8 billion to 730 beneficiaries (for three projects) with DP 0 Rupiah in a number of residences registered by the Prosperous Home Ownership Facilitation Unit (UFPRS). This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta (28/05).
Most recently, Bank DKI together with Perumnas carried out a joint credit agreement signing activity for the beneficiaries of a 0 Rupiah DP for the Samesta Sentraland Cengkareng residence, West Jakarta. Herry said that apart from the Samesta Sentraland Cengkareng residence, Bank DKI also distributed FPPR KPR to the Samawa Nuansa Pondok Kelapa Tower residence, East Jakarta which was developed by KSO Sarana-Totalindo/Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya and Rusunami Bandar Kemayoran, North Jakarta which was also developed by Perumnas.
Herry further said that he was still continuing to process credit applications made by potential beneficiaries of the 0 Rupiah DP residential program, "of course the screening process will be carried out in accordance with the precautionary principle," said Herry. As the bank implementing the 0 Rupiah DP Program, Bank DKI functions to verify DKI Jakarta residents who are deemed to have met the program's special banking credit/financing criteria as potential beneficiaries. As of April 2021, Bank DKI has processed more than 1,500 applications and 730 of them have signed contracts.
Herry also added, "the implementation of the 0 Rupiah Down Payment residential project for the Sentraland Cengkareng Apartments developed by Perumnas is part of Bank DKI's responsibility in supporting the development of the city of Jakarta in improving services to the people of DKI Jakarta in accordance with the vision of DKI Jakarta, namely a developed city, happy citizens."
The 0 Rupiah DP program is a program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which is managed by the Prosperous Home Ownership Facilitation Unit (UFPRS) under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Public Housing and Settlement Area Service. This program, known as Samawa, provides housing financing facilities for low-income people to own a finished and ready-to-live-in housing unit in DKI Jakarta. The criteria for prospective beneficiaries must meet the requirements, including being a resident of DKI Jakarta as proven by an e-KTP, not having their own house, not currently receiving Central/Regional Government housing assistance/subsidies, not having problematic loans from third parties/Banks or non-financial institutions and having a NPWP.
The existence of the 0 Rupiah DP housing program itself gives people hope to be able to own housing amidst concerns about property prices which continue to increase every year, with the availability of easy financing facilities, people have the opportunity to own housing, including the millennial generation or new families.
