Making it Easier to Access Banking Services, Bank DKI Ready to Support JAKHABITAT Zero Rupiah DP

Jakarta, 8 September 2022 - Bank DKI is ready to support the JAKHABITAT Zero Rupiah DP program by providing access to banking services. This was conveyed by the Director of Retail & Sharia at Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi after attending the inauguration of 1,348 JAKHABITAT Zero Rupiah Down Payment Residences located in Nuansa Cilangkap and Nuansa Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta with the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

Bank DKI Retail & Sharia Director, Babay Parid Wazdi said, "Bank DKI welcomes the Zero Rupiah DP JAKHABITAT program launched by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. As a DKI Jakarta BUMD that continues to build synergy and collaboration, Bank DKI has realized the distribution of Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Home Acquisition Financing Facilities to 935 beneficiaries for three Zero Rupiah DP JAKHABITAT Residential projects in The feel of Pondok Kelapa SAMAWA, Sentraland Cengkareng and Bandar Kemayoran.”

Apart from that, to support access to financial services for JAKHABITAT residents, Bank DKI also provides the JakOne Mobile application as a digital banking solution for its customer users to create a more personal, mobile and reliable transaction experience starting from paying various bills such as electricity bills, water bills, tax bills, to paying regional levies and taxes as well as online shopping. Apart from that, JakOne Mobile can also be used for non-cash transactions via Scan by QRIS, top up electronic money, give alms/donations to others and secure emergency funds through opening deposits anywhere and anytime. As is known, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government launched an integration program in the field of providing cheap housing for low-income people (MBR) in DKI Jakarta. The integration program is managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Public Housing and Settlement Area Service under the name JakHabitat. Babay Parid added, "In carrying out its duties as a bank implementing the Zero Rupiah Down Payment Program, Bank DKI is tasked with distributing credit/financing facilities to DKI residents who are deemed to meet the banking criteria as potential beneficiaries based on previous verification results by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Public Housing and Residential Area Service. Bank DKI is committed to supporting the distribution of Zero Rupiah Down Payment credit while still paying attention to the implementation of the precautionary principle"

To top up or top up your balance, JakCard users don't need to bother looking for a top up place. Apart from tourist area ticket counters, JakCard holders can use JakOne Mobile from their NFC-enabled smartphone to top up their JakCard balance with just a few easy steps. Second Quarter 2022, Bank DKI's Net Profit Grows 30.64%

Closing the second quarter of 2022, Bank DKI succeeded in recording positive performance growth by achieving profit growth of 30.64% Yoy to IDR 504.90 billion from the previous quarter II 2021 of IDR 386.47 billion. Apart from that, Bank DKI also recorded credit growth of 20.15% in the second quarter of 2022 to IDR 43.64 trillion compared to the second quarter of 2021 of IDR 36.32 trillion. Apart from credit, Bank DKI also managed to record growth in Third Party Funds (DPK) of 35.12% (yoy) from IDR 44.95 trillion in the second quarter of 2021 to IDR 60.73 trillion in the second quarter of 2022.

For its efforts to continue to provide the best performance, Bank DKI succeeded in winning 3 awards at the same time at the prestigious 27th Infobank Awards 2022, namely Special Performance Bank in the Core Capital Bank Group (KBMI) 2 category with assets of Rp. 50 trillion to under Rp. under IDR 100 Trillion). Apart from that, on May 19 2022, Bank DKI also won the TOP BUMD 2022 award from Infobank Magazine and The Asian Post as one of the BPDs with the "Excellent" predicate in the KBMI 2 Bank category with assets of IDR 50 trillion to IDR 100 trillion. In the same year, Bank DKI was also included in the list of 15 Best Banks in Indonesia as well as being included in the ranks of the World's Best Banks or Best Banks in the World in 2022 according to Forbes Magazine.
