Exploring Jakarta, Bank DKI Introduces the Jakarta Tourist Pass to the Red Sparks Volleyball Team

Jakarta – Bank DKI introduced the Jakarta Tourist Pass tourism service solution to the South Korean Volleyball Team, Red Sparks by visiting the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah tourist location in a City Tour activity in collaboration with JXB on Sunday (21/4). On this occasion, the Volleyball Team where the Indonesian Women's volleyball star, Megawati Hangesti was a member, was introduced to the experience of easy travel using the JakOne Pay application and the Electronic Money Card, JakCard as part of the Jakarta Tourist Pass service owned by Bank DKI. For your information, the Red Spark Jakarta City Tour activity is one of the events in a series of visits by the Red Sparks team to Indonesia which was initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) of the Republic of Indonesia, after previously holding an exhibition match session with the Indonesia All Stars on Saturday 20 April 2024. This series of visits is also the result of collaboration from LPDUK Kemenpora RI, Bank DKI, Jakarta Experience Board (JXB), TMII, Jamkrida, and Transjakarta.

Acting Director of LPDUK Kemenpora, Ferdinand Kamariki Tangkudung, said that this activity was the last opportunity before Ko He-jin's squad returned to their home country on Sunday (21/04) evening. "Yes, we took the Red Sparks city tour and also had dinner at TMII," said Ferdinand, quoted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Monday.

The Red Sparks team's visit to TMII was filled with various activities, including watching the Kecak Dance performance, exploring the richness of Indonesian culture in the miniature Sabang to Merauke region at TMII and a number of museums using an electric bus, then continued with dinner with a typical Indonesian menu, fried rice and chicken satay.

Amirul further added, apart from introducing the Jakarta Tourist Pass as a non-cash transaction service solution for tourism needs for domestic and foreign tourists, this activity is part of the promotion of tourist attractions in the city of Jakarta. "In the future, through the Jakarta Tourist Pass, Bank DKI hopes to increase the attractiveness of Jakarta as a pleasant tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists, especially in supporting Jakarta as a global city," concluded Amirul.

Travel Solutions with the Jakarta Tourist Pass

Bank DKI presents the Jakarta Tourist Pass as an application-based digital solution (JakOne Pay), and an Electronic Money Card (JakCard) to make it easier for tourists to make non-cash transactions to access various transportation, popular destinations and other tourism services.

The JakOne Pay - Jakarta Tourist Pass application comes with a number of features, including the Maps feature which provides a list of tourist destination locations, the Event feature which contains location information, time and ticket prices for tourist destinations in Jakarta, payment transactions via the scan to pay method, balance updates, and JakCard Top Up.

Apart from that, in terms of ease of payment using Electronic Money Cards, Bank DKI presents JakCard which can be used to pay for integrated transportation tickets in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, KRL Commuter Line, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, and JakLingko. Meanwhile, JakCard purchases can be made via Tokopedia e-commerce, a number of purchasing counters at several tourist attractions in Jakarta such as Monas, Ragunan Wildlife Park, as well as at all Bank DKI Branch Offices.
