The synergy of BUMD under the auspices of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to spread to various sectors. One of them is the synergy between Bank DKI and Food Station. On the sidelines of the Regional Development Bank National Seminar (BPD SI) in Jakarta (22/2), PT Food Station President Director Arief Prasetyo Adi said that cooperation with Bank DKI has been ongoing since 2015. "The revolving funding from Bank DKI that we receive has a ceiling starting from IDR 100 billion, IDR 150 billion to IDR 300 billion per year," said Arief.
Furthermore, Arief explained that the budget was intended for technological development to extend the shelf life of food for consumers. "There are items that have a short lifespan, such as fresh fish, vegetables, chilies, but we have the technology to extend the save life, the nitrogen, oxygen and humidity can be regulated," said Arief. This technology is claimed to be effective in extending the shelf life of food without reducing its nutritional or protein content.
One of the technologies used to maintain cheap food prices is a cooling machine for mackerel and garlic commodities. "We store thousands of tonnes in refrigeration machines. When there is a short supply, the price can still be cheaper than the market," said Zainudin. Arief said that cheap food facilitated by Food Station could be up to 15 percent cheaper than the prevailing market price through the application of technology funded by Bank DKI.
Apart from credit loan facilities for trading and commodities, Bank DKI also provides credit facilities to suppliers (Supply Chain Financing). Through this credit facility, the bills of our partner vendors or suppliers are covered first by Bank DKI. "I think the benefits presented by Bank DKI when collaborating with other BUMDs are extraordinary," explained Arief.
Apart from providing credit from Bank DKI, Foodstation has collaboration with Bank DKI regarding the issuance of PIBC Merchant Cards. The card, which was issued on November 20 2019, is not just an ordinary card limited to merchant identity, but can also be used for many functions. For example, to pay market fees, payment means go to Monas, Ragunan, take the LRT, MRT and MRT and public transportation which has been integrated with Jaklingko.
Traders at PIBC can also make maximum use of the presence of the DKI Bank Service Office here. Because Bank DKI's presence at PIBC has so far provided optimal benefits to stakeholders at PIBC. "If traders have financial difficulties with money to pay for kiosk rental, Bank DKI can provide bailout funds. Similar bailout funds can also be provided when traders carry out sales and purchasing activities. Both services are provided at a special rate for traders at PIBC. Therefore, don't hesitate to take advantage of all the services at Bank DKI," said Arief.
