DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Appreciates Bank DKI as the Largest Dividend Contributing BUMD

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Head of the BP BUMD Agency for DKI Jakarta Province, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Bank DKI as a DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) which contributed the largest dividends to DKI Jakarta Province. This was conveyed by Nasruddin when giving a speech at the Halalbihalal and Tasyakuran celebration of Bank DKI's 63rd Anniversary at Bank DKI Head Office, Jakarta on Wednesday (17/04). The event was also attended by the Head of the BP BUMD Agency, Directors of BUMD DKI Jakarta, Directors, Board of Commissioners and employees of Bank DKI, as well as Directors and Board of Commissioners of Bank DKI for the 2006-2023 period, as well as representatives of retired Bank DKI.

Based on the audited financial report, Bank DKI in 2023 was able to record a net profit of IDR 1.02 trillion, through the decision of the Annual GMS of Bank DKI for the 2023 Financial Year which was held on March 22 2024, Bank DKI has distributed dividends of 32.00% or IDR 326.44 billion of Bank DKI's 2023 net profit of IDR 1.02 trillion, or with a dividend payout of 32%.

"I hope that the increase in Bank DKI's profits and dividends will be in line with Bank DKI's performance to support the realization of Jakarta as a Global City with breakthrough innovative and adaptive banking products and services," said Nasruddin. He also expressed his appreciation for Bank DKI which is always developing and on track to become the main driver in synergy between BUMD DKI Jakarta.

On the same occasion, Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, expressed his gratitude for the support and trust from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and DKI BUMD for the good relations and synergy that have existed so far so that Bank DKI can continue to grow sustainably with Jakarta.

For information, this year, on April 11 2024, Bank DKI will be 63 years old with the theme 'Growing, Sustainability with Jakarta'. "By raising the theme 'Growing, Sustainably Together with Jakarta', Bank DKI is determined to continue to contribute to the sustainable development of Jakarta and be a choice for the people of Jakarta City with various innovative and adaptive banking products and services," said Amirul.

Bank DKI 63rd Anniversary CSR

In the 63rd Anniversary Halalbihalal and Tasyakuran activities, Bank DKI also distributed a series of CSR program initiatives, in the form of business funding assistance to Bank DKI retirees through the Probahtera program (Purna Bakti Sejahtera Program) which is an economic empowerment program for the families of retired employees to start and develop businesses, as well as a form of commitment to developing MSMEs in Jakarta.

On this occasion, Bank DKI also provided educational assistance for a number of outstanding children of retirees as a form of attention to the world of education, and it is hoped that it can maintain a better future for the children of Bank DKI retirees. This educational funding assistance program is provided to children of Bank DKI retirees for junior high school, high school, D4 and S1 education levels.

Bank DKI corporate secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that this business and education funding assistance program is also one of the Social and Environmental Responsibility programs in PT Bank DKI's 2023 Sustainable Financial Action Plan (RAKB). "Through the CSR program, Bank DKI not only provides financial assistance, but also as a form of effort to strengthen social and educational infrastructure. Bank DKI also believes that this assistance is not just a form of concern, but is an investment for a better future for the entire community," concluded Arie.
