Jakarta, 4 June 2022 - Bank DKI continues to support the programs of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and BUMD, including the holding of the e-Formula electric car racing event (Jakarta e-Prix 2022) on 4 June 2022. "Bank DKI is not providing free tickets for the Jakarta e-Prix 2022, but rather B2B and loyalty programs with the aim of creating and maintaining strong good relationships with its customers which is common in the business world," said the Secretary DKI Bank Company, Herry Djufraini in a written statement, Saturday (4/6/2022).
To enliven the 2022 e-Formula electric car racing event or Jakarta e-Prix, customers and the public can also experience non-cash transactions via JakOne Pay at the MSME Food Festival at Festival Beach, Ancol, on June 4 2022. This is done as Bank DKI's effort to support the MSME sector by providing cashless transaction services.
"We hope that the digitalization of MSMEs can bring banking services closer to all the people of Jakarta in particular, especially to help the business world, in line with the government's plans to increase economic growth after Covid-19," explained Herry.
During the event, Bank DKI also introduced JakOne Pay as an application for the young generation of millennials and Gen Z which can be used to carry out various daily transactions. This application supports transactions to scan to pay QRIS, as well as other server based electronic money activities.
"People who want to use JakOne Pay don't need to be Bank DKI customers, just download the application on the Google Play Store for Android-based smartphones and the App Store for iOS-based smartphones. For further information, you can directly visit the official JakOne Pay page at www.jakonepay.com," said Herry.
As is known, up to the May 2022 period, QRIS transactions via JakOne Mobile Bank DKI grew 561% (yoy) to IDR 15 billion compared to the May 2021 period of IDR 2 billion. "This increase provides a positive signal for us (Bank DKI) that people are now really taking advantage of non-cash transactions, one of which is through the QRIS method on the JakOne Mobile application," said Herry.
Apart from QRIS transactions, as of May 2022, the number of JakOne Mobile users has also reached 1.7 million users, with a nominal transaction amount reaching IDR 1.3 trillion, and a transaction volume reaching 1.6 million transactions.
Bank DKI also supports the digitization of the payment system in Ancol through various Bank DKI e-channels including Ancol Apps, MPOS, JakOne Mobile, and JakCard.
Apart from digitalization, it also supports the marketing and sales of Ancol recreation tickets, through the website, including Ancol cash pooling, through Bank DKI. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that all Ancol members and visitors will later become Bank DKI customers. Especially for Ancol merchant resellers, Bank DKI will also provide micro credit facilities and become agents through JakOne Abank Bank DKI.
"The innovation in digital banking services that we carry out is based on Bank DKI's support for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government programs to provide solutions for easy banking transactions for people anywhere and at any time," concluded Herry. (*)
