Now you can pay for health services at Tarakan Regional Hospital using QRIS Tap NFC Bank Indonesia via JakOne Mobile Bank DKI

Jakarta – Bank DKI continues to be committed to supporting the Bank Indonesia (BI) program following the launch of QRIS Tap NFC by Bank Indonesia which was carried out in Jakarta on Friday (14/03), which was also implemented in the QRIS payment feature on the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application. The launch event was also attended by the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Dudy Purwagandhi, the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, the Chairman of the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI), Adiwan Fahlan Aritenang, and the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo. Apart from that, also present were board of directors representatives from various financial institutions, transportation and public services, such as MRT Jakarta, KCI, LRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, TransJakarta and Perum Damri.

This innovation allows users to carry out non-cash transactions more quickly and easily by simply attaching their mobile device to a payment machine that supports the NFC feature. As an initial stage, QRIS Tap NFC is being implemented in a pilot project in the transportation and public service sectors.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, said that the implementation of QRIS Tap NFC in JakOne Mobile is part of Bank DKI's digital transformation to support a more efficient and inclusive payment ecosystem in Jakarta. "As part of the synergy with Bank Indonesia policies, Bank DKI continues to innovate in providing digital banking services that make things easier for the public, especially in supporting the public transportation sector. Now public transportation users in Jakarta can use QRIS Tap NFC on the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application as the main choice for non-cash payments on various modes of transportation such as the MRT and Transjakarta," he said.

Agus further said that the application of this technology is in line with the digitalization efforts carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to support the smart city concept, where people can feel the ease of carrying out financial transactions that are faster, safer and integrated in one application.

Previously, Bank DKI had launched various initiatives to expand access to digital payments, especially in the transportation sector, including the Jakarta Tourist Pass, which is based on the JakCard electronic card and the JakOne Pay application, which allows tourists to enjoy tourism services in Jakarta in a practical and integrated manner.

Apart from that, Bank DKI is also actively involved in supporting the development of the public transportation ecosystem through synergy between DKI Jakarta BUMDs, namely cooperation on the Naming Rights of the Bank DKI HI Roundabout MRT Station and the Naming Rights of the Bank DKI Senayan Transjakarta Bus Stop. This step not only strengthens Bank DKI's branding as a strategic partner for Jakarta's public transportation, but also provides benefits for transportation service users by expanding the digital payment ecosystem.
