Collaboration between Bank DKI – PMI DKI Jakarta, Launches JakCard-Based Blood Donation Card

Supporting the Digitalization of Blood Services in Jakarta, Bank DKI together with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) DKI Jakarta Province launched a JakCard-based Blood Donor Card at the closing ceremony for the 2021 Fund Month activities as well as the Launching of Digitalization of Blood Services at the PMI Blood Donor Unit DKI Jakarta Province in Jakarta, (22/12).

The JakCard-based Blood Donor Card was given directly by the Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono together with the chairman of PMI DKI Jakarta, Rustam Effendi to the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria, the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Marullah Matali, the Regional Representative Council of DKI Jakarta Province, Sylviana Murni, along with a number of government officials and top Indonesian artists. During this event, Bank DKI also won the award for the Highest Obtained Monthly PMI Funds at the DKI Jakarta Province level in the BUMD category with a total value of IDR 50 million.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, in his statement said, "The handover of the JakCard-based Blood Donor Card is intended as a form of Bank DKI's support for various humanitarian programs run by PMI DKI Jakarta Province. Through the JakCard-based Blood Donor Card, donors get various conveniences, including the Blood Donor Card which can be used as a donor identity card containing personal data, blood type and the number of blood donations that have been made. Furthermore, JakCard-based Blood Donor Card holders have the convenience of registering "When donating blood, donors also have access to donate blood in 5 areas in DKI Jakarta Province as well as places that are integrated with the JakBlood PMI DKI Jakarta application."

As is known, JakCard as a prepaid card issued by Bank DKI has been widely used as an e-ticket for various modes of public service transportation such as TransJakarta, Mikro Trans, JakLingko public transportation, MRT Jakarta, LRT, and even airport/Railink trains. JakCard is also the main means of payment in various tourist areas owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government such as Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, Planetarium, Ancol and various museums in DKI Jakarta. To top up or top up your balance, JakCard holders don't need to bother looking for a top up place. Apart from tourist area ticket counters, JakCard holders can use JakOne Mobile from their NFC-enabled smartphone to top up their JakCard balance with just a few easy steps.

Apart from JakCard-based blood donation cards, Bank DKI also supports a non-cash payment system for people who want to donate to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). Via scan to pay the JakOne Mobile application or other applications that have joined the QRIS network. Payments for public donations to PMI DKI Jakarta can also be paid via the transfer menu on JakOne Mobile.
