Bank DKI Wins 2022 TOP BUMD Award

Recording brilliant performance in the midst of the pandemic, Bank DKI won the TOP BUMD 2022 award from Infobank Magazine and The Asian Post as one of the BPDs with the "Excellent" predicate in the KBMI 2 Bank category with assets of IDR 50 trillion to IDR 100 trillion. The award was received directly by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy in Solo (19/5).

This award is given to BUMDs in the financial sector that are deemed capable of taking advantage of the recovery momentum to record brilliant performance in 2021. Bank DKI is included in the list of the 20 best BPDs according to Infobank magazine.

Fidri Arnaldy further said that this award was possible thanks to the support and trust given by shareholders and stakeholders, especially customers, so that Bank DKI could continue to grow amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Performance growth was also achieved thanks to various policies implemented by Bank DKI in response to the Covid-19 pandemic which have shown good results in terms of health and the company's business.

Bank DKI's positive performance growth trend continued in the first quarter of 2022, while in March 2022 Bank DKI's credit distribution grew by 13.70% from IDR 33.6 trillion as of March 2021 to IDR 38.3 trillion in March 2022. Gradually, Bank DKI also continued to improve credit quality which was well maintained where in the first quarter of 2022, the gross NPL ratio was still maintained at 3.05%, an improvement compared to previous period amounted to IDR 3.19%.

Bank DKI's Third Party Funds (DPK) also experienced growth of 34.32% to IDR 57.74 trillion in the first quarter of 2022 from IDR 42.98 trillion in the first quarter of 2021, thus driving the growth of Bank DKI's total assets by 27.7% to IDR 71.13 trillion. Bank DKI was also able to record a net profit of IDR 198.01 billion. Operational income before provisions (pre-provisioning operating profit/PPOP) was recorded to have grown by 44.7% from Rp. 273 billion in the first quarter of 2021 to Rp.

Fidri Arnaldy also added that currently he is continuing to develop digital banking products and services owned by Bank DKI through JakOne Community Apps to accommodate changes in customer behavior and society which is increasingly moving towards digital services. JakOne Community Apps is a digital banking service to encourage the implementation of financial inclusion and through the development of digital products and services. The JakOne Community Apps themselves consist of JakOne Mobile, JakOne Abank, JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, and Ancol Apps. And currently, the latest, Bank DKI also presents a cardless Mobile Cash Withdrawal service and a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) at the New Flagship Branch at the DKI Jakarta City Hall service office.

This award adds to the series of awards received by Bank DKI. Previously, Bank DKI was named the World's Best Banks or Best Bank in the World in 2022 according to Forbes Indonesia Magazine, ranking 15th out of the 20 Best Banks in Indonesia. "This award is an achievement and triggers us to continue to encourage performance growth by increasing service and product innovation that is able to answer the needs of Bank DKI customers and work partners," concluded Fidri Arnaldy.
