Bank DKI Employees Donate to Humanity for Natural Disasters

Jakarta – Bank DKI is organizing an employee donation program as a form of concern for the natural disasters that occurred in Indonesia. The donation drive by Bank DKI employees together with the Zakat Service Unit (UPZ) has succeeded in collecting assistance worth IDR 200 million which is then distributed through the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MMDC) which was handed over directly by the Director of MSE Credit and Sharia Business of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi in Jakarta (24/02).
"We hope that this assistance can be meaningful and ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who are in need." Said Herry Djufraini. He explained that the donation by Bank DKI employees has been carried out since the first week of January 2021 using the QR Scan method, so that it makes it easier for anyone who wants to donate via the JakOne Mobile application anywhere and anytime.
Furthermore, the aid will be managed by the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center to be distributed to a number of disaster areas. As is known, a number of disasters have occurred in Indonesia, starting with the 6.2 Richter scale earthquake that occurred in Majene and Mamuju Regencies, West Sulawesi. Floods in South Kalimantan, the eruption of Mount Semeru and other disasters also occurred in early 2021.
Previously, Bank DKI together with the Jakarta Tourism Forum had distributed humanitarian donations of IDR 100 million to handle the natural disaster of the earthquake that occurred in Majene and Mamuju, Sulawesi Baret.
Furthermore, Herry invited the public to pray together and help each other regarding the disaster that occurred in Indonesia through various steps, one of which is through donations which can be channeled through the Bank DKI Peduli program. "Bank DKI also invites people who want to donate and ease the burden on our brothers and sisters who have been affected by a number of disasters, to transfer directly via the Bank DKI Peduli account at account number 10120123455, or Bank DKI Syariah Peduli with account number 70107000030. Apart from that, donations can be made by scanning the QR Code via the JakOne Mobile application." Harry said.
Deputy Secretary of MDMC PP Muhammadiyah, Mashuri Masyhuda, on the same occasion also expressed his appreciation to Bank DKI for the distribution of donations through MMDC. In his written statement, the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI stated that the assistance worth IDR 200 million, apart from coming from employee donations, also came from the Bank DKI Zakat Service Unit.
