Bank Jakarta Hydroponic Garden

As a manifestation of its commitment to support sustainable development goals (SDG's) through the realization of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Bank Jakarta has implemented the Hydroponic Garden program at 11 locations in DKI Jakarta. Hydroponic gardens are a form of Bank Jakarta's support for the implementation of the SDGs, namely SDG 1 ending poverty in all forms everywhere, SDG 2 creating conditions without hunger, and SDG 15 increasing the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. The Hydroponic Garden is also Bank Jakarta's effort to improve the community's economy by increasing environmentally based food security around the area where the Bank Jakarta Hydroponic Garden is located.

Jakarta Hydroponic Cooperative (Jakonik)

The Hydroponic Garden Program is also supported by the Jakarta Hydroponic Cooperative. Through Jakonik, Bank Jakarta provides training, technical assistance, as well as facilities and infrastructure such as fertilizer, seeds and equipment. JAKONIK members also get access to marketing centers, educational services, and hydroponic product distribution networks. This approach ensures members can maximize harvest yields, optimize business management, and integrate the value chain from production to sales, thereby creating sustainable economic value for local communities.
