Frequently Asked Questions

iB Working Capital Financing from Bank Jakarta Syariah is a financing facility designed to support working capital needs for trade, construction services, manufacturing, and other service procurement activities. It is available to individuals, legal entities, and non-legal entities in accordance with Sharia principles.
Mudharabah is a business partnership contract between two parties: Bank Jakarta Syariah as the capital provider (shahibul maal) and the customer as the business manager (mudharib). Under this contract, the bank provides the capital while the customer manages the business operations.
Business profits are shared based on a pre-agreed profit-sharing ratio (nisbah) established at the beginning of the contract. Any business losses not caused by negligence or misconduct of the business manager will be borne by the capital provider in proportion to the capital contributed.
Murabahah is a sale and purchase contract in Sharia financing where Bank Jakarta Syariah purchases goods or assets required by the customer and then sells them to the customer at the original purchase price plus an agreed profit margin disclosed at the beginning of the contract.
Under a Murabahah contract, the selling price, profit margin, financing tenure, and payment method are clearly and transparently agreed upon from the outset, ensuring that customers fully understand their obligations.
